You have been warned…
In 1968, renowned demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren took on the chilling Annabelle case. Friends Debbie and Camilla had unwittingly invited a malevolent spirit into their lives through a seemingly innocuous doll, which they believed to be possessed by the soul of a seven-year-old girl named Annabelle Higgins. However, as the hauntings grew increasingly disturbing, the Warrens revealed a shocking truth: the doll itself was not possessed; it was merely a conduit for a far more sinister demonic entity determined to claim one of the friends as its own.
Fast forward to 1971, when Roger and Carolyn Perron moved into a picturesque farmhouse in Harrisville, Rhode Island, with their five daughters—Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy, and April. From the moment they arrived, the family sensed something was amiss. Their dog, Sadie, refused to enter the house, and it wasn’t long before they stumbled upon a boarded-up cellar. Within days, paranormal events began to unfold. Clocks stopped at 3:07 a.m., Carolyn awoke each morning with mysterious bruises, and Sadie was tragically found dead in the yard. Both Carolyn and Christine encountered a malevolent spirit, intensifying the family's plight.
Desperate for help, Carolyn reached out to the Warrens. During their initial investigation, Lorraine, a gifted clairvoyant, discerned that a dark entity had latched onto the family, making escape from the house impossible. To gather evidence, the Warrens, along with their assistant Drew Thomas and police officer Brad Hamilton, set up cameras and bells throughout the house. Their research uncovered a chilling history: the farmhouse once belonged to Bathsheba Sherman, an accused witch and Satanist who had sacrificed her week-old baby to the devil. In 1863, she took her own life at 3:07 a.m. after cursing all who would inhabit her land. Over the years, the area had seen numerous reports of murder and suicide, adding to the house's grim legacy.
As the haunting escalated, Bathsheba fully possessed Carolyn, revealing her terrifying intention to force Carolyn to commit the same heinous act she had once inflicted upon another mother. With compelling evidence in hand, the Warrens sought permission from the Catholic Church to perform an exorcism. However, Father Gordon explained that approval would need to come directly from the Vatican, particularly since the Perron family did not belong to the church.
In a desperate act of warning, Bathsheba targeted the Warrens’ daughter, Judy, escalating the urgency of the situation. The Perron family sought refuge in a motel, but the possessed Carolyn had other plans. She returned to the farmhouse with Christine and April, intent on carrying out her dark mission. Time was running out. Ed, Lorraine, and Brad managed to subdue Carolyn, tying her to a chair as Ed prepared to conduct the exorcism himself. In a heart-stopping moment, Carolyn broke free and lunged at April, but Lorraine's love and memories brought Carolyn back to herself just in time for Ed to complete the exorcism, banishing Bathsheba back to the depths of Hell.
Upon their return home, Ed carefully added the haunted music box from the Perron residence to their collection of cursed artifacts—a chilling reminder of the dark forces they had faced and the lives they had saved.
